Batik in crystal pattern unit
In my last unit I did some work in creating patterns from microscopic photos of natural sources e.g. crystals.
Here is an example of how I generated random natural ideas.
Here I used batik and I then crumpled the wax and painted disperse dye into the cracks.
It created a crystal like pattern.
I scanned in the images and adjusted the hue, saturation and contrast on photoshop.
I then watermarked all of them.
This technique of batik was then used in my final project to make my scarves.
Wildlife Photography Watermarking
I took these photos on my educational trip to brandon hill. My aim was to take photos of wildlife that could use later on in my project.
I decided to watermark these photos to protect them from copyright.
I did this by uploading the photos onto to photoshop and adjusting contrast and lighting.
I then went onto the text tool and selected a size and font for my watermark.
I then typed in my name and went onto to layers to adjust the opacity to make it almost transparent.
I saved it on high quality as a JPEG and then uploaded it to blogger.

life drawing
This is one of my first life drawings from the end of the first year.
I uploaded it onto my desktop then put it onto photoshop.
On photoshop I rotated the photo till it was horizontal.
I then cropped the image to get the background out the photo.
After doing this I played around with the contrast and lighting on the image.
